Ron has been a resident of Las Vegas since 1963 and was certified by both Clark County and the City to become a Construction Inspector. Soon after, Ron took a position with Southern Nevada Memorial Hospital (currently UMC) as Assistant Director of Facilities. He was then promoted to Director of Facilities Development and Operations where he was responsible for the construction of the hospital’s new Medical Surgical wing. In 1976 he took a position, as Project Coordinator, for the expansion/remodel of Caesar’s Palace Hotel &apm; Casino, with Corrao Construction Company, now Marnell Corrao Associates. In 1982, Mr. Harris made the decision to create Harris Associates, a construction management and general contracting corporation, with an unlimited license and has since been involved in a wide variety of projects, including single family residential developments, custom homes, apartments, expansion & remodeling of hotel casino properties, retail centers, industrial developments & special events, such as championship boxing matches and live performance concerts. He is also a member of the Construction Management Association of America.
