Without a doubt Bovada is one of the better poker sites that allows US players to play online poker. The choices are pretty limited to US players these days, especially if they want a site that they can trust. That being said, I do think Bovada offers American poker players a lot of options. Here’s an example of why I like them.
I was recently awarded a $22 tourney ticket to play in any upcoming BDPO contender series tournament with a $22 buyin. I had no idea that Bovada was giving out freebies like this for such little effort. How to win a tourney ticket from Bovada
- 75K Guaranteed High Roller at Bovada Poker. Bovada’s High Roller tournament is your weekly shot at high-stakes poker, with $75,000 in guaranteed prize money up for grabs every Sunday at 6pm ET, ensuring that you’ll regularly be able to satisfy your craving for high roller, anonymous poker action.
- Bovada Players will be awarded a surprise cash bonus or tournament ticket based on the tier they qualified for. If you earn 75 Poker Points in a week you get a mystery prize from Tier 1 or if you earn 150 Poker Points in a week you have a shot at a mystery prize from the Tier 2 prizes.
So basically what you have to do is head over to their poker facebook page and comment on one of their posts. Bovada will then pick a random commenter as a winner. Easy right? I thought it seemed silly too, but then I got picked as a winner and I was pleasantly surprised that I had won a $22 tourney ticket. I was not expecting much.
It basically took less than a minute out of my day to go to the site and post that comment that won me the ticket. The post that I commented on only had about 200 comments so I had close to a 1 in 200 shot to win that ticket. Not so bad for free.

1-Head over to the Bovada Poker facebook page at facebook.com/BovadaPoker
2-Scroll down and look for a post that Bovada Poker makes where they will award something for a comment, share, or post
3-write something and hope to win
That’s all you need to do-
They do this random stuff all the time so check every now and then and you should have a chance to enter. Once you do win Bovada will ask that you private message your Bovada account number so that they can award you your prize. You can find your account number when you login at the Bovada site.
Here’s an example of the most recent post that Bovada has up at their facebook page for people to try and win a “freebie”.
“Caption this picture before tomorrow at noon ET – Best caption gets a special #BDPO #BovadaFreebie.”
This post is just a picture of something and then they ask you to put a comment to caption it. Bovada will then pick a winner and award them something. What you win is a mystery as I’m sure it isn’t the same every time. I did one similar to this to win my $22 tourney ticket though. So if you win one I would expect you would get something comparable. Bovada is even saying that their prizes are getting better as they get deeper into their contender series tournaments.
